Zide is a non-profit developer collective. We minimize data collection and never sell your personal information.

This policy explains what data we collect and why, transparently.

What we collect

We collect the bare minimum. We don't collect any personal data directly since there's no registration or accounts on our site.

We keep anonymized visit logs only for site security.

We use Google AdSense cookies only to fund our servers with non-intrusive ads.

Why we collect data

Our uses are very limited. For technical support, when you contact us via email, we answer your questions and delete exchanges after resolution.

For server funding, Google ads help pay for hosting. 100% of revenue goes to infrastructure costs with no personal profit.

For security, we keep logs for protection against attacks and spam. These logs are automatically deleted after 6 months.

Cookies

We use the strict minimum. Technical cookies are necessary for site functionality. Google advertising cookies are only used with your consent.

You can refuse advertising cookies without affecting the site functionality.

Data sharing

We only share your data with our hosting provider (necessary for operation) and Google (only if you accept advertising).

Data retention

We keep your data as briefly as possible.

Security logs are kept for 6 months maximum. Contact emails are deleted after problem resolution. Cookies last 13 months maximum according to Google standards.

Your rights

You have full control of your data. You can request access, correction, deletion, limitation, object to processing, or get your data in readable format.

Contact us at contact@zide.fr to exercise these rights. Response within 1 month.

If there's a problem, you can contact CNIL (cnil.fr).

Security

Standard protection: HTTPS, regular updates, restricted access. No system is 100% secure. We do our best with our volunteer collective resources.
